Duke & Winston Opens in Center City
Duke & Winston’s Seun Olubodun with HRH the Duke.
Beloved hometown brand Duke & Winston is settling into its 2,600-square-foot home in Center City. The five-year-old graphic T-shirt and accessories company had outgrown its Northern Liberties location and moved its modern-preppy merchandise for men and women into a permanent showroom on Chestnut Street. Founder and President Seun Olubodun, whose line is named for his bulldog, HRH the Duke, and the original “English bulldog,” Winston Churchill, gathers inspiration from his international upbringing, particularly his time in the UK. This historical influence, combined with nouveau prep and nautical touches, makes for a brand that has both global and hometown appeal. 1822 Chestnut St., 267-639-5594
