Soft, flakey puff pastry stuffed with herbs, ricotta and feta cheese, coffee smoked brisket rubbed with spices that falls apart on your fork and melts in your mouth, and perfectly roasted seasonal vegetables tossed in a sherry reduction. These are some of the best parts of a Birchtree wedding menu experience.

A Philadelphia startup-turned-luxury brand, Birchtree Catering has been creating wedding magic for over 13 years with their seasonal menus, local and sustainable food sourcing, and thoughtful planning and service.

An alternative to the traditional ballroom wedding caterer, Birchtree boasts curated menus that speak to the couples’ tastes, and a love for working in unique spaces, such as private homes and off-the-beaten-path venues like their home base at Globe Dye Works, a beautiful warehouse venue that launched in 2019.

Winning awards and accolades along the way for their commitment to sustainability and exceptional food, Birchtree is 100% woman owned and operated, and takes pride in their inclusive company culture. Despite the setbacks of surviving through the pandemic, they emerged in 2022 stronger than ever, with new offerings such as micro wedding packages at Globe Dye Works for up to 50 guests, and an online ordering system for smaller gatherings called Birchtree On the Go.

Along with new offerings, they remain true to the custom, curated, thoughtful weddings that they are known for, working with clients that share a love for farm-to-table family style meals, and creating a warm inviting atmosphere for their guests.

Birchtree can be contacted via email at [email protected], or online.
