Treat your pet to homemade, natural treats and handmade pet accessories. Order a custom cake for your pet and have the shop design a custom portrait as the icing on top of the cake (literally!). The shop has adorable and presumably tasty treats and offerings for both dogs and cats.

Stop at one of the many Doggie Style Pets locations around the city to pick up just about anything you’ll need to care for your pet. Head to their Spruce Street location for free pup ice cream every weekend. Or, treat your pet to bathing, grooming, training, or a veterinarian check-up, all of which are offered at their stores. Better yet, adopt a friend for your animal through their adoption services. Browse through all the available cuties here.

Take your furry friend on a vacation to celebrate National Pet Day this year. Who’s better company for a spur-of-the-moment weekend vacation? Add on the ‘Dog Lover’s Delight package’ at the Ghost Light Inn or neighboring inn the Carriage House. The package includes: a gift certificate for pet portraits, leather doggy bag pouch, bandana, Ghost Light Inn custom collar, personalized dog name tag, treats from a local pet bakery, a guide of pet-friendly things to do, and other amenities that truly make this a vacation for you AND your dog.
With the package, guests also receive a dinner reservation at adjacent property Stella of New Hope, which features menus for both dogs and humans. On the ‘Pup Menu’, dogs can enjoy ground beef and barley, chicken and brown rice, or farro and salmon belly.
The price for the package is $250 in addition to the price of lodging.

Head to the Pet Friendly Dog Bakery for delicious, adorably decorated treats, of course, but also for pet parties! The shop holds seasonal events like pictures with the easter bunny, an easter egg hunt (dogs are separated into weight classes to ensure things don’t get out of hand), and even a corgi party. Treat your furry friend to a party with his or her own kind.

Treat your pooch to a trip to the spa! Dogs can be pampered to a full blowout, just a trim, or a pedicure complete with dog-safe nail polish. The spa also takes care of your pup’s hygiene as well, with ear cleaning, teeth brushing, nail trimming and baths. Scroll through their Instagram page to see their happy dog-show-ready clients.
