Touting healthy fast food, Bryn + Dane’s is expanding in a big way and opening locations in Bryn Mawr, Malvern and Center City, respectively. A robust selection of hearty and nutritious meals including acai bowls, breakfast wraps, and signature salads round out the menu. Multiple locations
Jose Garces’ insanely popular Baja-inspired taqueria will be opening a second location in Rittenhouse come summer. Buena Onda’s house special, the fish tacos, are available in a variety of ways including batter fried and tequila lime glazed. Pair with a classic margarita or red sangria and you’ll be ready for a trip to Mexico’s peninsula. The South Philly craft beer and cocktail bar, Otis & Pickles Speakeasy, is shaping up for a possible February opening. While pickles are sure to be a focus, classic dishes as well as more unique dining ventures will be offered. Bucks County’s Pineville Tavern is expanding into Philly this spring. The Pineville, as they are known to the locals, will offer the same American fare as their flagship, and will include an upstairs raw bar and a takeout window offering sandwiches, boxes of fried chicken, and ribs. Coming to 2448 E. Huntingdon St.
A haven for southern cooking is coming to Northern Liberties this spring, and will specialize in fried chicken and pies. Toddy Lyons and his wife Laura are fusing their culinary expertise and specialties to peddle Love & Honey. The restaurant will also offer several comfort-food side dishes including collard greens with ham hock and Mac & Cheese with toasted breadcrumbs. Coming to 1100 N Front St.
