HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Let’s get the party started with Ocean Casino Resort (theoceanac.com) as the team celebrates its five-year birthday since opening in 2018. “We are so happy to be celebrating our fifth birthday here at Ocean Casino Resort as the top resort in Atlantic City,” says Kelly Burke, senior VP and CMO. “After an extremely successful 2022, we have an exciting summerlong lineup loaded with exclusive collaborations, engaging activations and even a few yet-to-be-announced surprises in store for our guests.” Kicking off the big celebration—which lasts all summer long—is a $300,000 sweepstakes and daily free-play prizes. But the true party is scheduled for the casino’s actual birthday on June 28, during which a brand-new Birthday Bar Pop-Up Experience will begin at 1927 Lounge with specialty cocktails and decor. Plus, Ovation Hall will host performances by the critically acclaimed Magical Mystery Doors throughout the summer.
A closer look at the new cigar lounge
CLASS ACT
From John F. Kennedy and Clint Eastwood to Babe Ruth and Michael Jordan, cigars have made a cultural impact for the country’s elite. And now, you can join in on the fun with the Mobile Cigar Lounge by Tennessee Avenue Tobacco Company (@tennesseeavetobacco) that’s hitting the streets of Atlantic City this summer and beyond. “Our vision was to take luxury and sophistication and make it accessible for everyone. We wanted to combine the favorite traditional pastime of kicking back and enjoying a good cigar with the convenience of today’s on-the-go lifestyle,” says restaurateur and owner Mark Callazzo. Sometimes found outside on the Orange Loop, the 32- foot mobile lounge is the first of its kind down the Shore, and is perfect for weddings and alfresco events thanks to a luxe dark wood design with leather chairs and climate control, as well as an outdoor deck with Adirondack chairs—and, of course, a fully stocked humidor with an extensive array of major and discovery brands.
ROCK OUT
Over 40 artists on three stages during the first-ever Adjacent Festival (adjacentfestival.com) are setting the tone this Memorial Day weekend. From May 27 to 28, big names like newly reunited blink-182 and Paramore will headline the festival on Atlantic City Beach, with additional performances by Coheed and Cambria, Jimmy Eat World, Beach Bunny, Phantom Planet and more. Local bands like Japanese Breakfast, The Starting Line and Bleachers will also take the stage. For the ultimate experience, opt for the two-day VIP pass, giving you access to the grounds on both festival days, standing-room pit access for the Main Stage, and access to a cash bar and food offerings.

When Nobu opened last fall in Caesars Atlantic City (caesars.com), locals flocked to the renowned Japanese- Peruvian restaurant by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper—and now, there’s even more news on the horizon with whisperings of an equally luxe lodging counterpart. Announced as Nobu Hotel (the first of its kind in the area), the new addition will feature neutral tones complemented by lush materials like woven wallcoverings and marble finishes.Experience the glitz and glam of Spiegelworld this summer thanks to its AC counterpart, The Hook.

From Las Vegas to California, Spiegelworld (spiegelworld.com) has been impressing audiences with breathtaking shows in acrobatics, dance, music and more. And now, locals can enjoy them as well as the entertainment experience opens inside Caesars Atlantic City (caesars.com) June 30. Located in the former Warner Theatre, the spot will be known as The Hook by Spiegelworld, which will operate every week of the year with live shows directed by Britain’s leading comedy director Cal McCrystal. It serves as Atlantic City’s firstever permanent entertainment residency. “We are confident that this show will be a game changer here on the East Coast and will further strengthen Caesars Atlantic City’s position as a Vegas-style destination with world-class dining, hotel accommodations and, now, entertainment,” says John Koster, regional president of Caesars Entertainment’s Eastern Division. Also inside, find Italian-American psychedelic restaurant Superfrico, along with a plethora of cocktail bars to wash it all down.
