Watch as local artists paint one-of- a-kind works every day to fill the Tiny Room For Elephants space
SEE Stroll through the Cherry Street Pier to watch over 40 local artists bring it to life with vibrant visual and performance art, dancing, music and brand activations during Tiny Room For Elephants (tinyroomforelephants.com). From July 8 to 18, locals can see the creative process first hand as artists like muralist Adam Crawford, graffiti artist Esteme and more paint and install collectively while beats from the city’s most talented DJs and producers inspire them. “‘Made with love and inspired by grit’ is the ethos of Tiny Room For Elephants,” shares co-founder YaYa Horne. “It’s the reason why an artist can be at a 9-to-5 all day, go home, make dinner, put their kids to bed, come to Cherry Street Pier to paint for hours on end with their peers and wake up and do it again tomorrow.” Once the masterpiece of a space is complete, the festival will commence from July 21 to 24 with live music, panel discussions, sip and paints, beat battles, workshops and more.

The Perfect Blanc blends some of Lake Erie AVA’s more fragrant varieties like vidal blanc, traminette, vignoles and cayuga.
DRINK With 50 years of fine wine under its belt, Mazza Vineyards (enjoymazza.com) is ready to celebrate with a new sip. Located outside of Erie, the family-owned and operated vineyard was founded in 1972 by brothers Robert and Frank Mazza. This month, to mark the occasion, they are introducing a dry white wine, The Perfect Blanc, to The Perfect Wines collection (enjoyaperfectwine.com). “The Perfect Blanc will be delicately clean and dry with floral and fruity aromas for a—dare I say—perfectly refreshing wine for those warmer days and evenings on the porch, boat or by the pool,” says assistant winemaker Matthew Herrera. Joining a crisp rosé, floral bubbly and oaky red, the aromatic white sip—available at PA Libations in Reading Terminal, among other stores—offers the ideal balance between flavor and aesthetic, and is sure to be a favorite summer bottle.
Indeblue’s French toast is sure to sate any sweet brunch craving
DINE When Philly mainstay Indeblue (indebluerestaurant.com) bid adieu to its loyal clientele on April 30, Indian-food lovers throughout the city breathed a despondent sigh. However, do not fret—the couple is moving its beloved eatery a mere 20 minutes across the bridge to Cherry Hill’s Barclay Farms Shopping Center. “Chef Rakesh [Ramola] and I realized we are happiest with getting back to our roots,” says Heather Ramola, whose family lives in Marlton. Opening this month, the new location will feature favorite brunch, lunch and dinner items like the chile chicken tostada, as well as new creations and a local winery collaboration.
