On Sept. 21, Fairmount Park will come alive with the sound of the sport of kings during the third annual Philadelphia Polo Classic (philadelphiapoloclassic.org)—a local event that showcases Black polo players and benefits Work to Ride, a local nonprofit that provides equestrian opportunities for Philly’s urban youth. In addition to divot-stomping, there will also be party tents, exhibitors, food trucks and more.
