One Main Line native is leveling up pickleball style with sustainably made, chic paddles. The monochrome Hank Pro paddles are brand bestsellers.
Pickleball is fast becoming one of the Main Line’s most beloved sports, and Wayne native and Radnor grad Grace Collins is changing the face of the game, one sustainably made, stylish paddle at a time. Along with college pal Ellie Jamison, she co-founded Play Henry (playhenry.com), a brand offering high-performance paddles that are as beautiful as they are functional. Inspired by a desire to elevate the sport and cater to a new generation of players, Collins and Jamison saw a gap in the market for unique, aesthetically pleasing paddles that seamlessly transitioned from the court to social gatherings—or, as they like to say “from court to cocktail.” Their first creation, the monochrome “Hank Pro,” was an instant sell-out success, and this summer, players are clamouring to get their hands on Play Henry’s just-launched, limited-edition paddles made in a collab with artist Presley Goode.
