Best advice for engaged couples:
Don’t feel pressured into doing anything for your wedding that doesn’t align with your relationship. There’s sure to be people who want input into what happens in your day, but ultimately it’s a day where you can and should prioritize your values & wants as a couple.
What is something you constantly strive for?
I strive for each film we make to feel personal to each couple. I never want it to feel like I could substitute in another couple and the final film would be exactly the same. Finding the threads of your overall story and your vibe is what I think makes a truly special film.
Who inspires you?
Is it a cop out to say my couples inspire me? I feel so grateful when I’m trusted to tell their story in a meaningful, personal way, and I’m constantly awed by people’s incredible love stories.
What do you think is essential for any wedding?
I think in any great wedding film, meaningful dialogue is vital. Vows, letter readings, or even interviews with the couples really help breathe your personalities into your day and your film.
