No one nails on-the-go style like city-to-shore real estate star Brandon Dixon.
Real estate pros are notorious for their erratic schedules: early days, late nights, and packed weekends. Brandon Dixon, chief operating officer at Tower Investments, Inc., is no exception: Traveling 60 miles between Northern Liberties and Atlantic City for projects makes downtime even more valuable. Still, he manages to enjoy the best that the beach and the boroughs have to offer whenever possible. Here, Dixon pinpoints his fall favorites.
Step It Up
Dixon’s closet is filled with designer names, from Ralph Lauren (200 S. Broad St., 215-985-2800) button downs and slacks to Gucci (King of Prussia Mall, 610- 337-4130) loafers, which he “has in every color.” His Louis Vuitton (One Atlantic Ocean, Atlantic City, 609-343-0177) Messenger MM Explorer is a must for work. “I’m always on the go, so it acts as my traveling office.”
While JiK The Barber of Washington Square covers his grooming needs, manis and pedis at Richel D’Ambra (10 Avenue of the Arts, 215-523-8035) offer Dixon a quick getaway. “Richel D’Ambra is the only place where my phone isn’t in my hand,” he says.
In Good Taste
The Asian-inspired flavors of Buddakan at The Playground (One Atlantic Ocean, Atlantic City, 609-674-0100) make this spot a go-to for Dixon. You can find him cutting into pan-seared sea bass in the elegant dining room.
In the heart of Center City’s Midtown Village is Sampan (124 S. 13th St., 215-732-3501), where Dixon’s fall cocktail choice is a Ming Mule, with vodka, lychee, mint, and ginger.
For an endorphins kick to power through meetings and travel, Dixon works out with a personal trainer at City Fitness in Northern Liberties (200 Spring Garden St., 215-923-4114) and downs his must-have Peanut Butter Power Plus protein shake.
