The annual Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival returns, bringing a full day of style, flavor and festivities.
The Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival has been a must-attend event since Rittenhouse Row was founded in the late 1990s.
Spring in Philly isn’t official until Rittenhouse Row (rittenhouserow.org) transforms into an open-air celebration. On May 3, the festival returns, turning Walnut Street into a bustling runway of culinary delights, live entertainment and exclusive shopping experiences. “The festival is a true reflection of Rittenhouse’s dynamic spirit, offering something for everyone while supporting our incredible local businesses,” says Paige Jaffe, founder and principal of Square Retail Consultants and member of the Rittenhouse Row board of directors.

Hosted by the Rittenhouse Row organization, this beloved annual event highlights the neighborhood’s vibrant culture, bringing together top-tier restaurants, boutiques and local artisans for a day of indulgence and discovery. This year’s festival promises interactive pop-ups, live music stages featuring local talent and VIP lounges that offer curated tastings and specialty cocktails. First-time participants like Borromini, The Ground CPG and La Jefa will add new energy to the event while returning favorites like Marc Vetri’s Pizzeria Salvy, Lacroix and Scarpetta will serve up signature dishes. Attendees can sip spring cocktails at Club Bluecoat, located at the corner of 18th and Walnut, and enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere with a make-and-take flower bouquet activity, which will raise funds for the Greenfield School.
More than just a celebration, the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival showcases the best of the neighborhood while supporting local businesses and fostering connections. “I love the festival because it brings the community together in a vibrant, celebratory way,” notes Jaffe. “The mix of local and national brands, along with the chance to support local businesses and artists, creates an exciting atmosphere for people of all ages to enjoy.” Whether you’re there to discover the latest trends, indulge in gourmet eats or simply soak up the lively atmosphere, this is one spring tradition that never goes out of style.
