Style setter Miroslava Duma in the Philly-exclusive Vara heel.
Topped with a grosgrain bow, Salvatore Ferragamo’s Vara midheel embodies timeless sophistication. In honor of the style’s 35th anniversary this summer, the Italian fashion house has tapped modern trendsetters such as Camilla Belle, Amanda Hearst, Lauren Santo Domingo, and Elettra Wiedemann to custom-design their own Vara heels in an online retrospective.
As a bonus, Ferragamo will offer a special bespoke service at its King of Prussia boutique. “We wanted to ‘rediscover’ the shoe in a new light by allowing women to customize it for the first time,” says James Ferragamo, director of women’s leather goods. Originally designed by Fiamma di San Giuliana Ferragamo, the midheel can be crafted in 63 variations by mixing and matching the shoe’s body, heel, and bow in colors ranging from dark blue to crimson. Exclusive to Philadelphia, the red Vara with a nude bisque bow and matching heel is at the top of our list. King of Prussia Mall, 610-491-6810
