It is not uncommon to see one of the Borgata’s famed chefs wandering through the dining room or behind the line of the restaurant on a Saturday night. But it’s a rare chance to see the whole group of chefs assembled in the same room for the casino resort’s annual Savor Borgata. Now in its fifth year, the culinary festival is an intimate celebration of food and drink, held at the venue’s event center on November 10, from 8 to 10 PM.
Geoffrey Zakarian, Michael Schulson, Bobby Flay, Wolfgang Puck, Michael Mina, the Sherry brothers, and Thaddeus DuBois are all scheduled to appear, plating house specialties, chatting up guests, and posing for more than a few pictures. For Zakarian, the culinary lifestyle consultant for The Water Club at Borgata, it’s yet another way to connect with food enthusiasts: “[People] are so interested in food and the impact that it has on their lives, and to me, that [discussion] is an amazing thing.
