Savor Borgata boasts some of the biggest culinary talents in the nation.
Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa kicks off their second annual weekend-long Savor Borgata event this Friday, November 8. The series once again welcomes some of the nation’s most acclaimed chefs to showcase their culinary talents through multi-course dinners, live cooking demos, and wine-paired luncheons.
The event kicks off Friday evening with a sold-out Taste of 5 Culinary Masters, a cocktail party and four-course dinner held at Borgata’s 28 West. Top toques like Stephen Kalt, Michael Schulson, Thaddeus DuBois, Bobby Flay, and Iron Chef Michael Symon (new to this year’s Savor line-up) will prepare dishes for the dinner.
One of Savor’s biggest events is Street Eats, hosted by food/TV personality Sissy Biggers. The Saturday (November 9, 7-10 p.m.; $79) street-style festival is set to feature 25 food stations manned by some of Borgata’s biggest culinary names, like Aram Mardigian of Wolfgang Puck American Grill, Borgata executive chef Thomas Biglan, Greg and Marc Sherry of Old Homestead Steak House, and many more. Guests will enjoy live music by The Rockets, craft beers from Victory Brewing Company, and fine wines handpicked by Borgata wine director, Anjoleena Griffin-Holst.
Savor Borgata continues though Saturday evening and into Sunday with events such as a live cooking demonstration by Bobby Flay (Saturday, November 9, 2 p.m.; $35), a book signing with Michael Symon (Saturday, November 9, 3:30 p.m.), and a Sunday Brunch at Old Homestead Steak House (Sunday, November 10, 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; $45).
