When Tonia Fields, a dance teacher and choreographer, was a young girl, she used to sit across the street from The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, N.J., and watch the brides getting married there. When it was time to wed her girlfriend of six years, Tattianna Leeks, the couple didn’t hesitate. “The Mansion was the first and only venue we went to and wanted,” says Tattianna, a U.S. Army staff sergeant. “That wasn’t a tough choice at all.” At their reception, guests had a harder choice ahead of them: choosing between two signature cocktails named after Tattianna’s beloved grandparents—The Brooks and The Gladys—who could not make it to the wedding. The brides—who met online—planned a warm and inviting vibe using ivory and muted blush tones, amber lighting, natural greens and pampas grass with eucalyptus and roses. Friends and family dined on crab cakes and a cake from Classic Cake Bakery before sending off the newlyweds through a path of candles and sparklers. Tattianna and Toni ended the night by handing out late-night personalized snack boxes with chicken cheesesteaks, soft pretzels and Coronas before heading to a Punta Cana honeymoon where they swam with dolphins and sharks.
