Chef Jose Garces will make one of his favorite family meals with Hope Cohen on November 23

Independence Blue Cross is brightening the holiday season and helping you stay connected to loved ones with their complementary three-part virtual culinary series “Thanksgiving: Old Traditions and New Celebrations.” Cook a meal alongside local legends like Iron Chef Jose Garces, Philadelphia Inquirer’s Michael Klein, author and media personality Hope Cohen, Spice Finch’s Top Chef Jennifer Caroll and Maison208’s Executive Chef Sylva Senat. While participants prepare treasured family recipes selected exclusively by the chefs for the event, enjoy a lively Q&A session with the chef-lebrities. They’ll be discussing their culinary journeys and how to add nostalgic traditions into this year’s Thanksgiving celebration. Nov. 16, 19, 23 7-8:30pm, events.ibx.com
