Philadelphia is a great city to be in during the holiday season, and that goes for Thanksgiving, too.
Hosting and cooking this annual feast can be very stressful, so why not head to a restaurant and let the chefs do all the work? You can spend more time with family around the table, and take advantage of Philly's great menus.
To help you out, we collected a list of fine restaurants in Philadelphia that feature a Thanksgiving menu in 2021.

120 S 17th St. / Website
Located in the heart of Philadelphia, the Sofitel is imbued with French influence while keeping it traditional throughout the hotel. For Thanksgiving, the restaurant is open to reservations for a great holiday meal. The menu includes a raw bar with jumbo shrimp, oysters, clams and braised octopus salad. Appetizer options include a French and American cheese display, fall squash salad, sliced fruit display and more. Enjoy entrées of grilled cobia, bourbon braised short ribs, sweet potato casserole and more. Don’t miss the carving station with herb brined turkey or garlic-crusted prime rib of beef. For dessert, dig into salted caramel apple tart, mocha cremeux, financier, cranberry-maple torte, or pumpkin mousse.

Located on South Broad Street down the street from City Hall, Steak 48 is an upscale restaurant with an upscale mission. It’s Thanksgiving menu includes turkey, truffle mashed potatoes, stuffing and praline sweet potato. Not in the mood for traditional proteins? Try the prime steaks, seafood options or raw bar. Save room for dessert!

Located very close to City Hall, Dolce Italian offers a special four-course holiday menu. Start with your choice of roasted butternut squash soup or a fall salad with seasonal greens. For the second course, you can choose from sweet potato gnocchi or truffled ricotta and spinach ravioli. Mains include roasted turkey with gravy, whole roasted branzino, or prime rib of beef. Shareable dishes for the table include stuffing with spicy Italian sausage, seared carrots with toasted pumpkin seeds, roasted brussel sprouts with cider honey, and house-made cranberry sauce. The dessert options are pumpkin ricotta cheesecake or warm apple crostata with vanilla gelato.

Located a few blocks away from City Hall and Reading Terminal Market, the Wayward will open its doors Thanksgiving Day to offer select seasonal dishes, including smoked honeynut squash, pan seared scallop and half roasted chicken. There will even be some delights that are only available day of, so don’t miss this meal.

Located near City Hall and the Reading Terminal Market in the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, Bank and Bourbon boasts its own barrel-aging program for house-aged liquors and original cocktails. Come and enjoy the fruits of that labor while digging into a special Thanksgiving menu featuring salads and seasonal appetizers; your choice of turkey, prime rib or salmon; and sides such as root vegetables and mac and cheese. For dessert, it's pumpkin pie, apple pie and whoopie pies. All this for $80 per adult and $25 per child, with a $35 optional wine pairing.

Located across the street from Independence Hall in Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia, Executive Chef Jonathan Deaden offers a mix of a classic tavern with a modern restaurant. For Thanksgiving, he's serving an array of starters including fries, pierogies, brussel sprouts or the local cheese of the day. Enjoy your choice of tavern salad or caesar salad; and one of roasted amish chicken, bbq grilled salmon, scallops, New York strip or Elverson Park turkey. Sides include garlic smashed potato, mixed vegetables or delicata squash.

Located next to Rittenhouse Square, this Italian eatery is doing Thanksgiving family style. Appetizer choices include butternut squash soup or artisan mixed greens. A pasta course includes sweet potato gnocchi, spaghetti, taglionini or tagliatelle bolognese; and the main course choices are pancetta wrapped heritage turkey, black bass or filet mignon. Try the valrhona chocolate cake, pumpkin cheesecake or apple tart for dessert!

Located along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in The Logan Philadelphia, this steakhouse offers a three-course Thanksgiving menu. Feast on your choice of an baby kale salad, chilled shrimp, roasted cauliflower and roasted garlic soup, short rib gnocchi, or caesar salad as a starter, then enjoy an entree of Pennsylvania roasted turkey, jail island salmon, 1855 Farms prime rib, kabocha squash risotto, or stuffed pork loin. Dessert options include pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, or bourbon pecan tart. Don't forget the family-style sides of cornbread turkey stuffing, red bliss smashed potatoes, roasted carrot and parsnip, brussel sprouts and homemade cranberry sauce.

Located inside The Bellevue Hotel, this New American eatery offers a delectable Thanksgiving buffet in their grand ballroom. The raw bar features shucked oysters or grilled octopus salad for a seafood twist on tradition, plus assorted breads and your choice of slow roasted prime rib or country ham. There are plenty of salads, such as classic caesar or roasted brussel sprout, and fresh pasta choices such as mac and cheese or reginette pasta. Desserts include pumpkin pie or cranberry apple tart.

Located near Independence Hall, Fork is well-known for its brunch, but this place is going all out for Thanksgiving. The holiday menu includes snacks such as oysters and a charcuterie board, two appetizers per person ranging from kuri curry squash soup with pickled apple, or spanish mackerel crudo. Entree options include rib eye steak and whole Pennsylvania trout, alongside sharable dishes of anadama corn and walnut stuffing. Biscotti and ginger molasses cookies will finish your meal.

Located near Rittenhouse Square, Square 1682’s Thanksgiving menu includes a three course meal. Have your choices of appetizers including crab dip, organic greens, crispy brussel sprouts, or roasted butternut squash soup. For your entree, pick from slow-roasted turkey breast, herb-crusted salmon, grilled filet mignon, or cauliflower curry. All meals are served with whipped sweet potato, classic brioche stuffing, and french green beans. Leave room for dessert, because Square 1682 is serving apple pie or dulce de leche pot de crème.
