On March 12, 2018, the Philadelphia 76ers players, alumni, and coaches walked the blue carpet at the third annual Sixers Youth Foundation Gala, hosted by VIP Wireless. The event, which is the team's biggest fundraising event of the year, was held at The Fillmore Philadelphia and featured a performance by two-time Grammy Award-winner, DMC. 76ers legends including Allen Iverson and Julius "Dr. J" Erving were in attendance. Proceeds from the event went towards supporting the Sixers Youth Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to positively impacting the lives of young people in the Greater Delaware Valley.
