You know the drill: holidays on holidays until, suddenly, New Year’s Eve is just days away and you once again have no plans. Don’t let the biggest night of the year sneak up on you! Read on for five spectacular ways to ring in 2018, courtesy of our friends at Yelp.
Get dolled up and say goodbye to 2017 with a performance by the Philadelphia Orchestra. The 7:30pm showtime will have you out early enough to hit a house party, or back to your own home where you can enjoy a nightcap with your loved one while avoiding the craziness of the city. Tickets start at $60.
Skip the big box parties with subpar food and invest in a ticket to Alla Spina’s NYE Bash. Tickets start at $125 and include food from the Vetri family of restaurants, top shelf open bar, late night snacks, photo lounge, dancing, giveaways and more.
If you love live music, dancing and fun, check out the two-band lineup performing at World Cafe Live. First up is a set by Open Hand, featuring Brazilian percussion sounds that will get you moving. Ring in the New Year with PhillyBloco, a twenty-member band which will surely bring the party. Tickets start at $40.
Grab some friends and lace up your skates for a night of fun at Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest! Tickets start at $30 and can be purchased in advance for one of two sessions (5pm-8pm or 10pm-1am). Tickets include food, favors and fireworks on the waterfront by SugarHouse Casino.
This list wouldn’t be complete without a nightclub party! NOTO is Philadelphia’s newest mega-club, and their New Year’s Eve party will be rocking from 9pm-2am. Tickets start at $79 and include premium open bar and live DJ performances. If your goal is to dance the night away, this is the place to do it.
