What is Lovely Bride all about?
Founded in 2010 by Lainie List, Lovely Bride redefined the wedding dress shopping experience by being the first to stock undiscovered international designers who offer the freshest bridal fashion. In 2013, Lovely Bride arrived in Old City, Philly! Under our local owner, Ivy Solomon, brides who shop with us can count on stylish, never stuffy store interiors, warm and friendly stylists, and LOTS of body positivity, inclusivity, and self-love.
What can I expect from a visit to Lovely Bride?
Our brides and their guests get to enjoy private dressing rooms while working with one of our passionate and knowledgeable stylists. Appointments last one hour, during which your stylist will help you determine style preferences, chat with you about your bridal vision, and get to know the real you! With over 200 gowns in store to choose from, you’ll have a hard time finding just one to wear on your big day!
What kind of gowns and designers do you stock?
We stock fresh and fashion forward styles from a variety of designers, both international and domestic. Our variety of gowns never feels stale or fussy and are always being added to. Whether your vision is lacy and romantic, beaded and glamourous, or chic and simplistic, there is a gown for every bride in our store. Let us help you find yours!
How can I book an appointment?
Head on over to www.Lovelybride.com , register with our website and you can see the most accurate availability we have for appointments. Once you book through our website, you’ll get a personal link to our Lookbook. You can browse all gowns we carry and that you can try-on in store, so there are no surprises!
Any tip for first time shoppers?
We recommend coming in with an open mind! Trusting your stylist is the best way to find a gown that may surprise you and be your gown. As for guests, bringing less is always more. Having too many opinions in the room can make it confusing and difficult for brides to focus on finding her own tastes. And most important, always, always have fun!
What new trends or designers have your brides buzzing?
Lovely Bride Philly has just welcomed a new international designer to our racks—Daalarna Couture! Designed in Hungary, Daalarna’s gowns have glamour, texture, and quality represented in equal measure. With exquisite fabrics and detailed craftsmanship, our newest designer has us hyped to share with our Lovelies. Brides can come shop several classic styles, and new favorites from the MIRROR Collection, already in store!
