Three Philadelphia tastemakers reveal their tried-and-true health, beauty and wellness routines.
After work, CBS3‘s Rahel Solomon hits the ground running to train for fall’s top marathons in Philadelphia.
Rahel Solomon, who grew up in West Philadelphia and Upper Darby, assumed coanchoring duties this year at CBS3’s Eyewitness News This Morning and Eyewitness News at Noon. Not bad for someone who started in the biz only six years ago as a production assistant for NBC10. Solomon moved to the United States from the Sudan with her family when she was 3 years old. The Archbishop Prendergast High alum, who edited the school’s newspaper in Drexel Hill, got a finance degree from St. John’s University before switching her career track to journalism. After earning a master’s degree from Northwestern’s world-class program, Solomon learned the ropes in Charleston, South Carolina; West Virginia; and Denver before returning to her hometown. Her weekdays begin at 1am to be ready for her 4:30am broadcast. Rise and shine indeed.
