As one of America’s oldest and largest public markets, Reading Terminal has been iconic in Philadelphia for over 128 years. From DiNic’s famous pork sandwiches to Beiler’s Doughnuts, more than 80 small businesses have called the space home. But on October 7, Reading Terminal made an announcement that flooded the social feeds of every local: COVID-19 has put the city steward in jeopardy of closing its doors. And that’s where Tito’s Handmade Vodka comes in. By using their philanthropic foundation Love, Tito’s, the vodka company just announced that they will match every dollar donated to Reading Terminal’s GoFundMe campaign, up to $25 thousand dollars. Since the terminal launched their GoFundMe page, the campaign has raised over $200 thousand dollars.
