One viral traveler dishes on how and where you should wander next. This year, Regan has plans to explore Yellowstone National Park, the Pacific Northwest, Europe and Japan
In the early stages of the pandemic, influencer and Philly native Tyler Regan (@tylerregan) and his girlfriend lived vicariously through House Hunters International. But, pretending to travel while stuck in their apartment was not enough. “One day, my girlfriend, Tara, woke up and said, ‘Let’s sell everything and do a road trip in an RV,’” shares Regan. “I had never camped a day in my life, but I needed to do something other than sitting in my apartment.” A year later, he became a viral TikToker while posting comedy skits in his 1976 vintage Airstream. From the tip of Florida to the mountains of Arkansas, the couple saw it all, and learned a few tips along the way. Here, the expert shares his travel essentials, as well as bucket-list destinations and his most underrated adventures. Regan’s renovated Airstream.

FAVORITE PLACES SO FAR
Key West, Fla. “My favorite place we traveled during the Airstream trip was probably Key West. It’s hard to top that lifestyle. The food blew me away; the water blew me away. Basically, I spent the full two weeks blown away.”
Japan “As for international trips, Japan. I’d live there if given the chance. I’ve even been teaching myself Japanese in case I decide to just stay when I visit again.”
MOST UNDERRATED DESTINATION
Eureka Springs, Ark., and Cambodia “The most underrated and surprising place we went on the Airstream trip was definitely Eureka Springs, Ark. I had no idea what to expect, but everything from the amazing food to the amazing people was incredible. Then, the most underrated country I’ve ever been to would probably be Cambodia. It’s not a place that a lot of people think to travel to, but it’s an incredible country and one worth seeing if given the opportunity.”
